We celebrated our wedding at the wine bar, and what can I say? IT WAS PERFECT! From the very beginning, Sebastian took his time with us and fulfilled our every wish. The food was beyond outstanding!! For us, this charming, traditional restaurant in the heart of the idyllic wine village of Frickenhausen (near Ochsenfurt) is always a top choice. We were there with 17 members of my wife's family for a traditional St. Martin's Day goose/duck dinner (our third time there already), and everyone—adults, teenagers, and children—was completely satisfied. Despite the high workload and numerous special requests, our server remained professionally friendly and humorous throughout. (She's been doing this for 20 years—respect!) The excellent food left nothing to be desired, and the drinks selection is very good and extensive. Even the value for money is exceptionally reasonable. We left this welcoming culinary haven completely satisfied and promised to return soon.

The finest Franconian food and drink in a cozy and traditional setting, complemented by excellent service. It's advisable to reserve by phone or follow up, as the online booking system doesn't seem to work very well. A definite recommendation for anyone visiting Frickenhausen!

Wow, I was recommended the Wienstube, by the Hotel, were I was staying in Frickenhausen, it did not disappoint, out of all the places I ate in my six day tour, this place was by far the best!!! I very pleasant host, recommended the shoulder of pork, it was absolutely amazing, best roast pork I have ever eaten!!!! I had an asparagus soup, which was delicious and mousse for pudding, the house res wine was incredible, and the digestif recommended was a perfect end to a superb traditional dining experience, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone passing through this delightful town.

My spouse and I visited last Thursday evening, noticing the posted, evening menu on the board in front. We phoned in advance and got a reservation, although for our early visit, one wasn't necessary. The lady hostess greeted us warmly, and we were soon enjoying a lovely, green Silvaner wine. I opted for the evening special, Schaeufele, and my spouse for another of the evening specials. The Schaeufele was cooked to perfection, with a golden, crispy crust that literally melted in my mouth! The flesh fell from the bone, and the rich gravy accented the meat perfectly. It was a great evening for us, and I am extremely proud to recommend this charming place as a real keeper. Thanks, Ehrbar for doing a great job for us.
